I have had some issues with thin cords. Since I live in an older home, I 
have quite a few two-pronged outlets. I've noticed that Roomba has a 
tendency to unplug the devices that are plugged into them. However, "I've 
had no issues with chords on the floor when they are plugged into a surge 
protector or three-pronged outlet. Hope this helps.
