Hi Andy,

While I agree with you from my own experience and that of many others that I know, the people that I work with will not be convinced to go without a keypad/buttons. I think having that as a crutch can ease their transition to new technology. Who knows? Maybe once they get comfortable with one kind of phone, they would go to an iPhone next go-round. For many that I have talked with, they will not consider the iPhone or an Android because of the lack of buttons.

Like I said, I agree with your philosophy. But there may be room for other options for those less adept at technology.

Shannon Cook, MSW, CPM

I do not believe that a specialized product of this kind is necessary. The iPhone is a mainstream product that already incorporates the features mentioned. There are also accessories offered through 3rd party vendors such as tactile screen protectors and even a remote control that add accessibility for people who have special needs. I think that the time for specialized products in this arena has long since passed.

Andy
