Busking is a term for doing some kind of performance, usually musical, like
playing a guitar, while soliciting donations.

Frequently done on streets or public places like bus stations and subway
platforms. 

Some cities require a permit to busk, and there could be fines if you don't
have the right permit. In some cities the license will come with areas or
times of the day you are allowed to busk.
