Hi,
I have not done it yet, and do not know if I will. I just heard a report on
my local news radio station that Apple says that the older phones have
trouble working with much newer IOS because the battery in the older phone
does not have enough strength to handle the new IOS. So, to help the iPhone
owner, Apple makes some adjustments to the older phone to improve the user
experience with that phone.
I say read between the lines.

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] iPhone 5S and IOS 11
Has anyone with an iPhone 5S updated to IOS 11? Was it a good move, or did
it slow everything down to a crawl?
I'm excited about the indoor map possibilities I read about in Flying Blind,
but not sure if the update required is worth messing up everything else.
Thanks.
Tracy
