How complicated an air purifier are you looking for?  We had a little one we
just plugged in.  Totally accessible, since it had no settings.  Ours came
from QVC, quite some time ago now.
I suggest you do some online research and ask questions.  I've gotten some
helpful answers, asking questions on Amazon.
I'd also suggest finding out what stores sell what you want in your area,
and going over to see if you can get your hands on one, or, if everything is
in boxes, getting a salesperson to tell you about any settings the equipment
needs.
