[Electronics-Talk] Staying straight with the electric snow shovel

I recently bought an electric snow shovel, which is really a mini snow
blower.  It is totally accessible, quite similar to our electric lawnmower.
My only problem was keeping a straight line.  I kept ending up with ridges
between shoveled parts.  The grass line is covered with snow, so it's hard
to find.  Also, with an ordinary snow shovel, there's some feedback when it
hits the grass, but the same feeling isn't transmitted up the handle of the
electric snow shovel.

Does anyone have a solution to shoveling straight?
