SeeingAssistant-home and VisionAssist are the two apps I use for magnification. along with just taking pictures with the camera and then zooming in on them.

Also, the iPhone has a built-in magnifier. In Settings, General, Accessibility, Magnifier. In that screen, just toggle on Magnifier. Then, you use the accessibility shortcut (tripple click home) to bring up the magnifier.

Hope this helps,

Jim

In the mean time, she is looking for iphone apps to aid in magnafacation for reading documents and food packiges. I recamended Be My Eyes but I'm no expert on turning an iphone into a portable hard copy document reader. Does anyone know of an app that can magnifay regular documents into large print ones that are in hard copy? Any ideas will be great!!!
