[Electronics-Talk] iPhone Question

This is something I got from a list I belong to. I've never tried this. I
usually just delete them one by one.
I've also found that if I get over 1500 emails, my i5s will delete them all
by itself. Hope this works for you. Warning: It's kind of lengthy. But it
may be better than the one at a time process.

Deleting Emails from the iPhone Faster

I think I've found something that may make the process a little faster.
Go into the settings.
In the section for Email, go into your account.
In the advanced settings, there is a heading for Email behavior. Swipe to
where you want Emails to go when they are deleted. Choose to have them
moved to the trash folder rather than the default.
Now, when you choose to archive them they go into the trash folder, so when
you want to clear all deleted messages out, you go into the trash folder,
choose to edit, and use the delete all button. You will be asked if you
want to do so, and you say Yes. They will all be gone.

>From the home screen, probably on the first one unless you have rearranged
them, you go into "settings". There is a group of settings for "mail,
messages," and something I can't remember offhand. Under the "mail", or
maybe it is listed as "Email", is a heading for accounts. Your Email
account is listed there, and that's the one you want.
