You can go on the internet with the LG Terra and Alt 2, but neither my wife
nor I have any interest in doing so with the phones, nor want to pay for a
data plan. We both use our home computers to facebook or other things.  Cell
phones do not andn will not control our lives like so many people have let
their cell phones, especially the smart phones take over their lives!

Your chances of finding any flip phones in a Verizon store is very slim,
since there is no profit in them for the sales person.

You can always order one from Verizon national store and if you do not like
it you can return it in their trial period and no cost to you.

I do get messages from facebook and sometimes I reply to say happy birthday
jim, but that is through text messaging back to facebook.
My plan has unlimited calling, text messaging, sending pictures  etc.
The LG Terra and my wifes LG Alt 2 do everything we want and I leave the
rest to my BrailleNote Touch or home computers.

I'm just wondering Roger with the lg tera and the flip 2, if you did have
data would you be able to go on the internet? I mainly use my computer for
going on the internet, but it's great that with some of these simple phones
that you can do it to an extent. Sometime I'll have to go to the verizon
store and see these 2 phones. All these simpler phones are great for thing
to use your phone as a phone as you said, Ashley, and to be able to navigat
through the menues, ti write in your own contacts, go into the settings if
need be and other things. I like using the calculator on both phones, the
gusto 3 and the kyocera. As far as the kyocera's voice, it reminds me of a
softer toned seri voice in a way. It would be interesting to know what the
voice speech sounds like on the lg tera and the flip 2. I'm wondering if it
might be the same voice as the lg 450 and 470.
