I purchased a blueridge 9000btu split unit this summer. with all the
accessories it was close to 8800 bucks. I put it in a room with know
windows that is approx. 500 squarefeet, and I never usually run it
under 72 degrees to keep comfortable, and I put it on 80 at nights.
While it's not accessible via an App, it does come with a very tactile
remote, and you can count fan speed, and modes such as auto, cool,
dry, and heat.
HTH.
