Hi,
You do not need Amazon Prime. You will get some good perks if you have
Prime. But it is not necessary.
Echo devices will read Kindle or Audible books. There are also skills which
allow you to read other formats depending on if you are willing to pay for a
subscription.
There are also a variety of both free and paid radio skills from Tune in
and Pandora free to paid music subscription services such as Apple and
Spotify.
There are thousands of skills from games and weather to news and sports.
You do not need to speak slowly or extra loud. There are a variety of Echo
devices to suit your needs.
The buttons are very easily understood and are tactile.
Everything is also voice controlled.
Hope that helps.
Merv

Hi all,
What are your experiences with this? Are all buttons pretty pronounced and
feelable?
Does Alexa understand you well or do you have to speak kind of slow for it
to work?
What sort of books can Alexa read?
To what extent can you get radio stations?
Also you have to have amazon prime to use it?
Thanks.
