I've never had to do that, and I don't drink black coffee.  I put milk in 
it.  So if the coffee was only warm, putting milk in it would make it cold, 
which it does not.  Pam.

Hi Everyone,
The K cup machine is fast and easy!
I had a large Coffee Shop with the NJBEP and I sold lots of Coffee.
The best tasting coffee must be brewed at 205 and 210 degree water, pour
over the Coffee bean very slowly and should remain with the bean for awhile
to get all of the flavor from the beans.
I do not have a K cup machine and I will never get one.
Everyone tells me that the coffee is warm and they must put there cup into
their Microwave oven.
Remember the K cup is only one ounce and you can not expect to get 6, 8, 10
ounces of strong or tasty coffee.
Since the K cups are only one ounce and they cost around 75 cents to $1.00
each and sometimes you can get them at a lower price.
You are paying around $16.00 per pound for your easy and fast way of making
coffee.
I have a Black and Decker single cup machine for over 5 years and it only
cost around $20.00 and there are simular single cup machines at a lower
price and they will brew a cup of coffee within 3 minutes and it will be hot
and good.
They have reusable  filters and will make a 14 to 16 ounce cup of good hot
coffee.
I also have a electric perkerlator for the weekend to make a larger amount
of coffee.
You can buy coffee at around $3.00 and higher and you can put more coffee in
the filter to make a stronger cup of coffee and the clean up is very easy.
These are just some of my reasons I will not pay $80.00 or more for a K cup
machine and the price of the coffee.
The K cup that you fill with your favorite beans is small and is hard to
clean out of all of the grines.
Therefore if you add up all of the time in cleaning and scrubbin the K cup
reusable filter and the cost of the K cups it will cost more then if you
went to the corner Coffee Shop.
