If you can live without shuffle or random play mode, you can pick up a
totally accessible MP3 player on EBay forabout a buck. No kidding. I have
four of them. It is about the size of a matchbook, and has only a large,
round play/stop button surrounded by a concentric ring for up/down volume
and left/right skip. The right side has a slide on/off swich and a 3.5
headphone jack. The left side has a port for connecting a micro USB cable
and a slot for a micro SD card, which you must buy separately for about $4.
Of course, you supply your own earbuds or headphones. And it runs on a
rechargeable lithium ion battery whichprovides about 4 hours of playing
time. If you absolutely must have shuffle mode, you will have to pay much
more for an accessible MP3 player with this feature. Below, is a link to
one such MP3 player on EBay:

I have a Victor Stream, but I don't use any of the functions
other than the MP3 player. What is a good accessible MP3 player? It must be
able to play from a USB thumb drive and have a shuffle/random mode. Other
than that, it does not need to be able to do anything else.
