[Electronics-Talk] Braille watch alternatives

Hi Again:
I did forget to say that I never wear my Braille watch when doing anything
around the house or yard that could damage the watch by dish water, cleaning
products, dust, dirt and even when grooming my long hared golden. I slip
off the watch and tuck it safely in my pocket so I can take it out if I
really need to check the time. Before taking out the watch I be sure to
cleanse my hands so nothing gets into the watch. I do not know if my extra
caution extended the life of my watch but it can't hurt to be careful.
Since we have to open our watch faces they are more susceptible to dust and
dirt getting into them.

HI To you all.
I currently own the EOne,
and it is a great timepiece. With regards to durability, I have had it since
the beginning of this year, and it is still in pristine condition. I wear it
everyday, and it is great. Its design would suggest that it would be more
durable than the regular Braille timepieces. All of the components that make
the timepiece work, are not expose to the outside. And the ball bearings
seem pretty durable. Granted, I have not used it to do any gardening as per
your question Tracy, so I would not be able to comment there.
Regards
Santi
