I have the same one and I like it a lot.  We will have to compare notes.

it actually only seems to happen on amazon prime, and I did some research
since the last time you and I spoke, and it turns out that you can indeed
skip the adds by simply pressing the skip button. I'll verify this to be
sure but I'm almost positive that you can skip them. I know that was a
concern of yours because of your children which makes lots of sense.
