Sometimes an iphone can pair with an android phone but not always.
Probably the safest means to export is through text messaging.  You share
a contact then select message then in the to: line of your message key in
your android phone number and then hit send.  Once done, check your
android phone after the first number you try to export and see if you have
a text message on the android phone.  Open the message if it appears and
check there may be a button to import that contact on your android phone.
If it's there hit that button and then check the directory on your android
phone to make sure you got the whole contact.  There's a hand off feature
on the iPhone in settings if turned on may copy all of your contacts to
your android phone at one try.  I hope this helps.
