Hi,
They are really useful for lights, TV's and other such appliances. I
have them plugged in to my lamps. You leave the lamp switch in the on
position, you can then tell your smart speaker such as "Lady A" to
turn off the livingroom lamps or turn off the livingroom TV. I am
loosing the small amount of remaining vision I have and sometimes
cannot see enough to verify if the TV screen is off or the lamp is on
or off. This way I can tell the smart speaker that controls the plug
to turn something off or on and know that it is indeed off or on. It
is also useful if you are on vacation and want your lights to come on
at a certain time to make it look as though someone is home.
