a few thoughts for what it is worth as i am looking for a laptop.
you can search best laptops and get some good nerd reviews of people that compare for their needs.  if you are running magnification programs like zoom text a thought could be to look more towards gaming as the graphics can be a little demanding.  i would also suggest upgradeable so you can future proof it as best you can.  i personally think dell has slipped and i am looking more at HP.

One of the people on the NFBCS list really likes the MS Surface.  I have no
experience with it myself.
They looked nice at the Microsoft store, but they are also quite pricey, and
I just bought a new laptop.  I bought a Dell, and I am not real thrilled
with it, but part of that is the learning curve for Windows 10.  And the
thing is slower than my old Windows 7 laptop.

Hello,
I am in the market for a new laptop. I think I want something super
portable this time. Can anyone provide me feedback on these? If using
jaws, is there a lag? I am going to the Microsoft store tonight to
check them out but it always helps to hear from others. Thanks.
Jessica
