Patrick,
I purchased these a while back and really like them. They are simple and
inexpensive, but have great sound and are very good for phone or skype/ Zoom
conversations. They can be connected to the pc through a 3.5mm jack or USB.
The nice thing about connecting through USB is that they have a little
remote to adjust volume and mute the headset on the fly. I'm pasting the
info from Amazon below that you can paste into the search. I paid around $21
for them back in September.

Mpow 071 USB Headset/ 3.5mm Computer Headset with Microphone Noise
Cancelling, Lightweight PC Headset Wired Headphones, Business Headset for
Skyp

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] Suggestions on reasonably priced around the ear
headphones for computer use

Group,

I am seeking suggestions/reviews for a pair of surround the ear corded ear
phones for use with my laptop. My once quiet home office where I could use
a pair of ear buds or over the top headphones to hear JAWS speak is no more
thanks to the stay at home order in place.
I am looking for headphones which would surround my ears, block out the tv
in the next room, and allow me to keep the computer volume fairly low.

I would prefer not to pay for concert quality headphones as I do not need
their dynamic range.

Anyone purchased a reasonably priced set from Amazon or another online
retailer recently?

Thanks,

Patrick
