I have Spectrum in my living room and bed room and it works in both places.

Sorry about that.
Thanks to Terry who answered my question regarding direct TV and the Genie
boxes.
I have a follow-up question. Do other services such as Spectrum, Comcast,
or Uverse work the same way? That is, can you only have a talking box in
one room in your house or apartment? Hopefully not, but I thought I'd ask
since it has come up.
