I purchased a Mr. coffee 12 cup coffee maker color is black from Amazon and it is very easy to use. All you have to do is press the button after you put the water in and the coffee grounds. And wait for your coffee. It is a glass carafe and there is even a little bit of a dip where you pour the water in so you can rest the carafe in that spot to know exactly where to pour. It is a bare-bones basic coffee maker but it does the job just fine. I just looked and it is 24.99 on Amazon and is still available. Good luck.

Either they're too big, (I really don't need a twelve cup machine), the design is weird, (I read about one where you have to take the lid off the carafe and leave it open with the basket just kind of sitting there(, or they have touch screens.
