I'd like to know as well. Some have software that one can use to program
them. My information isn't current though. I used to enjoy using an old
radioShack scanner. I felt it was my ears on the neighborhood. Then
trunking and digital transmissions became more widely used and for obvious
reasons. It would still be good to be able to hear what's going on if
there's an incident neargy.

Use Radio Scanner
Hello. I'm interested in buying a good police scanner. I realize that most
of these devices don't offer much in the way of accessibility but I'd like
to find one that's easy to use and, ideally, with documentation that I can
access online to learn about the device as much as possible.
