We have a smart TV and a multi-room Sonos setup which includes a Sound Bar. I can even play my MacBook Pro through the same audio that the smart TV uses for multi-room sound. I know Apple TV is always working on their TV OS. And although I currently do not have the latest model, I have had the Apple TV 3 and Apple TV 4 in the past. And always had a good experience with their level of accessibility. I remember a few years ago I even had a little protective case for the remote control.

With the Apple TV box, you get Dolby Atmos sound through all your streaming services like HBO Max, Netflix, Disney plus, Amazon prime ECT. Not even the Fire TV cube offers you that much Dolby Atmos sound. That’s important if you have a sound bar or receiver set up which can take advantage of it.
