Hi Tracy,
I had problems with Sound recorder too using Jaws.
Simple is hard to come by.
I'd recommend trying Gold wave or Audacity.
Both are free although goldwave may be free for a limited trial.
Both programs have menus and built in keystrokes.
Another idea may be Quick time player although I'm not sure if there is
currently a windows version or if its just for the mac.
HTH,
Ashley

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] Sound recorder
My husband is looking for a program he can use to record. He has Microsoft
Sound Recorder, but can't get Jaws to go to the Record button.
He has a cassette player that connects to his PC, and he's supposed to be
able to record from it to a file, but he needs a program that has a Record
option.
He is running Jaws and Windows 10. He wants something fairly simple, too.
Thanks.
Tracy
