Ok, I am confused. My phone is connected directly to the modem. Then I connected a phone cable from the jack on the wall into the modem. I tested it and the phone in my bedroom does not ring. I get touch tones but no dial tone. What am I doing wrong? -- Leslie Fairall mailto:fairall at panix.com
