Good evening everyone,

When logging into certain apps on our tv we're offered the
option of logging in by scanning the on-screen barcode or by entering a code
at a particular url. If your tv is downstairs and the computer is upstairs
this can be problematic though I have done this on some occasions. I'm
curious to know if there are particular locations on tv screens where
barcodes are displayed. Assuming I'm logged into the app on my iPhone I wish
to useon the tv knowing the location where the barcode I sdisplayed on the
screen could allow me to scan the barcode to log into the app saving me
trips upstairs. One example is Apple TV Plus on the Amazon Fire TV Cube. If
anyone knows where on the screen the barcode is displayed, the lower
right-hand corner for example, all I would need to do is to scan the lower
right-hand corner of the screen so the iPhone can read the barcode to gain
access to the app. If the iPhone beeps or one receives a messaging saying
that their login was successful a blind person could do this independently
as long as the barcode appears on the tv screen in the same location
consistently. Our cleaning lady will be here tomorrow to help us with some
technology-related issues. This will be a great experiment to try while I
have sighted help should things not work the way I hope they will.
