Hello Dennis and everyone,
It would be nice if we would receive these notifications whenever software is updated. Our Fire TV Cube software was updated a few months ago. The updates may also be happening during the night when the unit is turned off. I'll have Geek Squad check this out when they come a week from tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.

I had the same issue a while back with Netflix not working with VoiceView on the Fire TV but a simple update of the Fire TV software solved that problem and I haven't had any issues since. I have learned that it is best to check every couple of days to see if there is a software update and not wait for them to be automatically installed. I am amazed at how frequently the software is updated.

I have a fire TV. I reset it and reinstalled all my apps a couple of weeks ago. As of two days ago I was able to sign in and use Netflix just fine. As far as I know, I am up-to-date with all of my software and apps on my fire TV. Is it completely nonexistent? I haven’t had experienced any trouble so far. Granted, I am not a solid Netflix user.
