I agree with you.  I have never understood the significance of the
'Important' folder, particularly that we have no means to choose what is
kept in that folder.  For my Gmail Account, it seems to mirror my Inbox
which I really don't need.

Hi all,
I recently created a gmail account but having the important folder is
driving me crazy as you can't control which messages end up in it. I've
tried hiding it but that didn't work, is there any other way to get rid of
it? Using latest versions of JAWS and Windows 11 and I use Outlook to access
the account but I tried to do the hide on the gmail web interface. Thanks
for any help that anyone can provide me, Madison
