I am still using Windows 10 on 2 Dell laptops with both JAWS 2021 and 2022.
I have similar problems in Zoom and Teams, with and without bluetooth
headsets. In addition, in Zoom JAWS is now being heard by the others in the
Zoom session when I am not using a headset, and when using a headset Jaws
comes through the headset and the Zoom session audio comes through the
laptop speakers. Sometimes this is ideal, and other times, it is not. I'm
thinking that something has changed with the sound card driver. There are
settings in JAWS to change where the JAWS voice is directed. I've not had
time to play around with any of this.

Let us know if you find a fix.

Ironically, in the middle of writing this message, my JAWS just got static
sounding. In the past a reboot has fixed this, or I've had to change sound
card drivers.

HTH,
Annette

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] JAWS audio through Blu tooth headphones on a
Windows 11 laptop changes when connected to Zoom, AIRA, Google Meet

Group,

The audio quality on my Blu tooth headphones changes (dsounds like I am in a
wind tunnel and the volume increases) when I connect to a Zoom meeting, use
AIRA Team Viewer, connect to a Google Meeting. As soon as I disconnect the
audio reverts back to the quality I expect. I am running latest JAWS on a
Lenovo P16 running Windows 11. I used this headset on a Windows 10 laptop
without issue.

Any thoughts on what changed between the two operating systems?

Thanks,
Patrick
