[Electronics-Talk] New hot tub owner looking for advice

I believe that there are four, maybe five items that are tested chemically
in the hot tub. As I said before, though, this may be different based on
the type of hot tub and the chemical make up that one is working with. I
know there once was a product for chemistry labs, and the like that had
several accessible testing instruments for these kinds of items. Whether it
could be calibrated to test a hot tub or not, I am not sure, and I am also
not even sure it is still available. At the time I knew of it though, it
cost about $500 and maybe there were upkeep costs.
Temperature is pretty easy and we rarely measure temperature. Our tub is
covered and that is in part why we really don’t worry with the temperature.
An uncovered tub would need to be tracked and I think a kitchen thermometer
would do a nice job. I’ve never tested it personally but maybe where I will
now.
Jim.
