Hi,
So, does this mean that the VR stream 3 cannot play audible books?
But, the VR stream second generation, can?
Has audible given any word or time frame for when they will let the VR
stream play their books?
That is a big problem.
Why won't the new VR Stream play Learning Ally's books?
To me, that seems like a deal breaker. 
If I need to pay over $500
For  a player, then I'd like it to play daisy books from the major sources
for books for the blind and print disabled people.
Bookshare, the NLS talking books, and Learning Ally books comprise
The leading sources of accessible specialized books. Then, adding the
mainstream source of Audible books adds another option for those users who
can afford to buy commercial 
Books and want to do so.
So, then what I think you're saying is the VR Stream 3 does not play audible
books which are human narrated, 
nor does it play Learning Ally  daisy books which are also human narrated. 
That is too bad and I hope they fix some of these glitches that 
Sherry, Tracy and others have brought up.

Did they increase the volume on the new stream? 
What about the speaker quality and does it play in stereo?
As for the books not being in alphabetical order, this is the first I've
heard of this issue.
I think mine were in order by Author's last name.
If you are referring to placing books in your DTB folder, I think they had
some sort of order.
But, I'm using a VR trek so I don't know if that makes a difference.
I also use the old fashioned desktop daisy player called the VR Stratus.



Interesting points brought up, and now I know why Audible does not play on
the new stream.

On the Victor group, they do have a tech on there from Human wear, so they
are aware of glitches and snags, Audible being one of them and not arranging
books in alphabetical order as has been mentioned, neither problem has been
resolved.  According to the tech he said the major problem of Audible books
not being able to be played on the 3, is because Audible is dragging their
feet.  No alphabetical order for books?  Who knows.
