[Electronics-Talk] 6 Dot Braille Label Maker Problems

            Please excuse me if this is not relevant for this list. I have a
6 dot Braille label maker that I bought several years ago. It worked fine at
first and then started having problems almost all the time. If I let it rest
for a long time, like several days, it will produce a few good labels, and
then invariably start having problems-I think something with the tape-where
it runs cells together, sometimes even two or three at a time. Has anyone
else experienced this, and, if so, is there a good solution? I have tried
changing the batteries, just for good measure, but nothing helps.
