Hi Lisa:

Yes, they do.  Since you are getting the Hopper it should come with speech.
Have the technician go to the accessibility settings and turn on text to
speech.  This will enable you to use the guide, access your DVR recordings
list, now what channel you are on and different things like that.  I don't
have Dish anymore but their accessibility features were really good.

Hi,

My husband and I are both totally blind and are having Dish Network 
installed tomorrow. We've had talking boxes in the past with Comcast and 
Verizon FIOS, so I was curious if Dish had any sort of beast like this? 
We're getting the Hopper with DVR. Thanks.
