Please join The Florida Outreach Center for The Blind for our next exciting
workshop on Thursday August 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Our guest
speaker will be Judy Porro certified mobility instructor. Come here about
trips and tricks using our white cane and guide dog as we navigate various
areas in our daily lives. In addition, Judy will be talking about basic
self defense moves where we can use our white canes if we are in a
dangerous situation.

Whether you are newly blind and have not had much exposure to either a
white cane or a guide dog, or perhaps you are a long-time user you will
learn about areas where you can improve your over-all mobility usage. Other
information will be presented as well. A door prize will be given out at
the conclusion of the meeting. The Zoom information will be at the bottom
of this message.
