I am sorry if something I wrote may have been a trouble to you, Beth.
I still say that we cannot expect others to act in even the right 
ways sometimes.  I am afraid that people do sometimes feel threatened 
and want to back off.

I will not say any more.  I didn't want to make a long discussion of 
this particular case, but I did think that maybe I ought to say my piece.
