On a side issue, I've played as a principal player among sighted musicians for nearly 50 years. Our church doesn't have much of a demand for sound work but I did fix a problem with a public address system when a pager signal was rectifying a pager signal. I just shut an extra mic off and that temporarily fixed the problem.
