Hi Andrew and list,

Andrew, when you say the worship pastor said "no" it could either be "no 
absolutely no, never you'll not be able to do it" or it could be "no, not 
right now, it's expensive and finely-tuned equipment, you'd need training 
first".

If it was the first kind of "no" then maybe some sort of protest is called 
for, but if the very cautious, nervously-defensive, protective kind of 
response then perhaps some patient persistence.

If you can, tell us what the gear used is i.e. the models and what you are 
trying to achieve.

Dymo-labelling with braille or even marking with glue-dots is useful.
