[Faith-talk] forwards

Hi Linda and Eric and all --
I normally don't like forwards, but have enjoyed the ones on this list. I
don't have time (or haven't made time) to go to a website to get a thought
of the day and have actually been glad some of the thoughts have been
forwarded to this list. I have also almost started a discussion on some of
them that I thought would be interesting, but the forwards are coming so
often that by the time I get a thought together on one, there are 2 more
waiting...
Is there a compromise on forwards? Can they be reduced in number and have
the headers deleted?? I noticed one of the forwards had "do not remove
headers" in the text of the forward, so someone wants his/her mailing list
publicized, but they can do that in a footer not a header.

Just some thoughts.

Barbara,

As the list moderator, I asked that forwards not be sent unless they
really spoke to someone; and then that should be said. I also asked
that the headers be deleted, but that isn't being done, either. I
know that sometime someone is helped by a forward, but this list is
for discussion. Discusion doesn't usually follow any of these
forwards. Maybe my request applies to everyone except one individual
on this list! Smile.

Blessings,

Linda Mentink
