[Faith-talk] New to Faithtalk. Introducing myself.

Greetings,

My name is Ginnie and I am new to the NFB and to the Faithtalk email list.
 I am 31 years old and have been legally blind all my life.  I am just now
learning about my blindness and I will be lobbying my state commission for
the blind to send me to an NFB training center.

I am also starting a process of discernment for ordination as a priest in
the Episcopal Church (Diocese of Massachusetts).  I earned my Master of
Divinity in 2006, and have been working in the human service field ever
since.  I have sensed a call to the priesthood since the age of 15.  I am
interested in the practice of contemplative prayer, congregational
development, Jewish-Christian relations, and practices of hospitality that
bring folks from the mainstream together with folks on the margins.  Thank
you for letting me introduce myself to you.  I look forward lots of ongoing
conversations on this email list.
