Blind Faith:

I'm wondering how most blind people without enough vision to read
print do their Rosary Prayer? I got the handout from XSB and it's
useful just didn't describe in depth the way that I would have wanted
it to. For example, you say "Ten hail maries and one Our Father's".
I've been largely an atheist for most of my life so I'm not to all of
these christian sayings. In fact, our country by and large is becoming
more and more secular and less into organized religion. The ten hail
maries is that refering to the actual words or like the hail mary
prayer in the Centenial prayer book? Do you find it useful to have the
Rosary beeds or the ring and if so why?
Secondly, do you find the Rite of the Holy Mass book from XSB
equal to what is preached in your Mass on Sunday's? I see some of it
but the positions I don't like standing, sitting and kneeling in
sequence in the right order. The Propers for July might aid me in this
regard and the Manual of Prayers is also helpful especially with Our
Father and etc. My other thing is when a priest says "The Fahter, The
Son and the Holy Spirit" for the sign of the cross or trinity prayer
that there is a point you do the sign on your forehead, lips and your
chest. When is this usually take place? Then, gentaflecting and the
placement of the tabernacle can be tough. Do you think I should learn
this at RCIA or ask about it now to orientate myself before hand? I
ask this cause I don't know if things move around or if that is an
institutional sort of thing?
How do you usually go to Mass? I use FOCUS missionaries from the
college to go each and every sunday. I don't have many living
relatives that aren't estranged from me to even be able to help me.
I'm curious on how you go to certain events and etc of the church? I
would probably ask someone but seeing your views on it. Are there
times in certain events you have difficulties in visualization in
tandum with the rest of the parisheners? Anyways, thanks for any
prayers in this regard in this transition and sorry if I'm annoying
you cause unlike you I wasn't raised christian. It's one of the
problems in christianity is that christians tend to be extrmeely
judgemental, close minded and apathetic towards other situations cause
of the american excuse of lazyness, evil doers or etc that aren't true
hence the declining of organized religion in a percentage sort of way.

sincerely,
Peter
