[Faith-talk] Texas Church Conference of the Blind Annual Retreat

Hi Everyone,

I trust the following will be of interest to you.

Are you looking forward to a weekend of fun, food, fellowship, Bible 
teaching, and spiritual rejuvenation?  The Texas Church Conference of the 
Blind (TCCB) will hold its annual weekend
retreat during the weekend of August 6-8, 2010, at Mount Lebanon Baptist
Encampment in Cedar Hill, Texas.  The cost for the entire weekend, including
2 nights lodging in a motel-style room (with typically 2 to a room), and 6
generous meals is only $95.00.  We have a total of 3 partial scholarships
available for first-time attendees, and requests for these must be received
no later than June 30.  For those paying the full amount, the money should 
reach us by July 26.  Checks may be made payable to TCCB with "retreat" in 
the memo line, and mailed to Glenda Goodwin, TCCB Treasurer, 2319 Famous 
Drive, #811, Dallas, TX 75208.

Our theme this year is Praying Without Ceasing, based on 1 Thesalonians
5:17; our theme hymn is Sweet Hour of Prayer; our keynote speaker is Michael
Justice, a dynamic blind minister and Dallas Theological Seminary graduate.
The retreat will feature chapter programs from throughout Texas, a talent
and inspiration time, a short business meeting, and a moderated Bible
discussion.
