[Faith-talk] sin!

Sister Jeanette, I said this, in the other thread, and it bears repeating here.
The new man, (new creation in Christ,) doesn't sin.
The only way we commit sin, is when we allow the flesh, (the old man,)
to resurrect itself.
That's what this holiness lifestyle is for.
We're to put our bodies, (our flesh,) (the old man,) under subjection,
as the apostle Paul instructed.
That way, we keep the old man dead, and allow the new man, (controlled
by Christ,) to live, and rule.
When we do this, we can overcome sin, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
George Fox's quote again.
"It is not impossible for us to sin, but it is possible for us not to sin."
Blessings, Joshua
