Hello and good day to you all, my fellow Christians. Here are today's thought-provoking pearls of wisdom for your consideration.

The best portion of a good man's life--his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love. William Wordsworth

Christians have more wholesome fun than anyone in the world, but their joy wells up from within. Billy Graham

If God has given you more than your neighbors around about you, dedicate your possessions to Christ, and realize that you are only a steward of what God has given you--and some day you will have to give an account for every penny you have spent. (quote compiler's comment: Sobering words indeed. But, if we look at the bright side of the ledger, so to speak, I'm sure that God will look more favorably on what we spent on others as opposed to yourselves. Of course He realizes that you need money to pay utility bills and other necessities such as appliances or repairs to such, special products to make our lives easier such as talking products, our children's education and things for them of an educational or entertainment use).

This is that "peace of God which passeth all understanding," that serenity of soul which it has not entered into the heart of a natural man to conceive. Waves and storms beat upon it, but they shake it not, for it is founded upon a Rock. It keeps the hearts and minds of the children of God at all times and places. Whether they are in ease or in pain, in sickness or health, in abundance or want, they are happy in God. John Wesley

The powers of darkness are no match for the power of the Gospel.

God's care surrounds us.

To be a channel of blessing, let God's love flow through you.

Kindness and compassion have led more people to Christ than proclamation alone. (quote compiler's comment: I'm sure that if each one of us should tell about a special person who led us to the Lord, that there would be no room for any other messages on this list, or am I wrong about that?)

And there you have it for today. Until tomorrow when, Lord willing more quotes will be presented, I remain your obedient servant of the Lord, Paul Barnabas.
