Can this person be trusted?
Verse(s): Proverbs 2:10-12
Today's Confession: Have you ever been shocked by what a friend did?
Devotional:
Have you known people who seemed to be one way and turned out to be
another?
Have you ever been shocked by what a friend did?
God wants to be able to warn you about people that would try to harm you
or your family. He wants you to be able to accurately discern whether a
person is genuine or covering up evil intentions.
One benefit to walking in the wisdom of God is that you will be protected
by supernatural insight and discernment. God loves you and wants you to
know if someone is trying to deceive you.
When wisdom enters your heart,
And knowledge is pleasant to your soul.
Discretion will preserve you;
Understanding will keep you,
To deliver you from the way of evil,
>From the man who speaks perverse things.
Proverbs 2:10-12
The wisdom of God will help you to see through people so that you are
'delivered from the way of evil'.
God's wisdom is never judgmental or condemning of other people. It is
always humble and gracious. However, the wisdom of God will warn you of
situations that you need to be alerted to.
Receive the wisdom of God by faith today and trust that you walk in
enough understanding to stay protected from any evil that would try and
deceive you.
