[Faith-talk] Our Beliefs

And also if you speak in tongues, there must be someone who can interpret
it. Although the lady I heard in Venezuela who was speaking in tongues was
saying the same thing over and over while the interpretation was different
things. That doesn't sound right to me.
Speaking in tongues, to me, means that you speak a language you don't know
but another does. It would be like me going up to someone and speaking in
Russian or Chinese when I know about four words in each language.

you believe many things that many others i know believe, but i know that i
have eternal life and yet i have not received the gift of tongues, so you
are saying i do not have the Holy spirit? i have to respectfully disagree
with you, i think the Bible tells us that each of us have the gifts that God
bestows on us when we receive the Holy Spirit.
