Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Whether
red, yellow, black or white, they are ALL precious in His sight and, He
loves us big children too! The love of our Father is uncomparable.

He made everything beautiful in its' own way. "For the LORD takes
pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation."
(Psalm 149:4) We were created for His pleasure. "You are worthy, O Lord,
to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and
for your pleasure they are and were created." (Rev. 4:11, NKJV) Every
starry summer night and every snow-covered winter's day is the handiwork of
our great God. We need to look around us and see the goodness and the
beauty God has blessed us with. He is good!

Sometimes we fail to see a certain people as being loved by Father God.
I am not in tattoos or body piercings. I see people seeking identity
through body art, and some really are desparate to be seen. They are
marked from head-to-toe. Others are into body piercing and any place they
can pierce their flesh, they do so. Some do both, and many go to extremes.
This is not my cup of tea, but I dare not shun them or fail to tell them
about the love of God. We must not close our minds or harden our hearts
against those who do not look just like us. An old addage says, "there is
none so blind as he who will not see." We shouldn't care about the length
of his hair or the color of his skin, but see a life that needs to be
introduced to the Master. You see, man looks on the outer appearance but
God looks at the heart.

I love the story of a long-haired, barefooted young man that came into a
church service. All the seats were taken and no one got up to offer him a
place to sit. He proceeded up the aisle toward the front as the
congregation gawked. The pastor slowed his message with his eyes glued on
the young man. Finally this guy makes a seat on the carpeted floor and
starts to listen. No sooner had the guy sat down until an aged,
white-haired deacon was making his way toward the young man. All eyes now
fell on this deacon and wondered if he would escort the young man out of
their church. After all, he bore no resemblance of anyone in the
congregation. The old deacon ambled along and finally reached the spot
where the young man sat. It was a tense moment; what would he do? The old
man dropped his cane on the floor and carefully sat down beside the young
man so he would not have to sit alone. There was a holy hush that rested
over that congregation as they witnessed an act of love that could have
only been from Father God. What greater message could they have seen or
heard?

Are you seeing some truths coming around the corner? We need to
straighten it out in our minds that Jesus died for the sins of the world.
He did not die just for the good, but for the good, the bad and the ugly.
God does not love sin but He does love sinners. He requires us to do the
same. So from now on begin to see people who are different than us as a
diamond in the rough. Do you remember what you looked like when Jesus
reached down His hand for you? It might help! Love and blessings to ALL!

In His Grip,
