Hello and good day to you all. I trust that, by God's matchless grace and His providential care, that you had a peaceful and restful sleep last night. Here are yet more thought-provoking quotes for your consideration.

It's not the words we pray that matter, but it's the condition of our heart.

What is done for Christ in this life will be rewarded in the life to come.

A smile is a curve that can set things straight.

A true friend stays true to the end.

The straight and narrow way is God's way for a crooked generation.

The true measure of a person it's what's in the heart.

Jesus doesn't need lawyers; He needs witnesses.

Those who lay up treasures in Heaven are the richest people on Earth.

When Jesus changes your heart, He gives you a heart for others.

Grace is unearned blessing given by God to an unworthy recipient.

And there you have it for today. I hope that these were indeed thought-provoking.

The list moderators may wish to delete the following prayer request, as it could potentially be controversial, but will poste it anyway. While listening to the local news this morning I heard of an individual, William Sanger by name from a community in rural Frederick County, Maryland about 50 miles west of Baltimore, who has been in a coma for quite some time now and is on life-supports. His wife wants to pull the plug while the family wishes for his life to continue. For those who remember, this sounds like the Terry Chiavo case from 2005. So pray that the jury come up with a solution as the case goes to court. His wife's lawyer says that she, and only she, has the authority to either prolong life or pull the plug. This decision admittedly has no easy answer. Although the undersigned is not directly involved in the case, your prayers for it would be appreciated. Thanks.

And now until tomorrow when, Lord willing more quotes will be presented, I remain your obedient servant of the Lord, Paul Barnabas.
