[Faith-talk] some bible history books from BARD

I still agree with Felicia. Anyone else can go to a online store or library
and buy or
check out books. We cannot. We have NLS thankfully and I like the books Rex
suggested.
But as you know NLS only produces 2000 books a year.

Some books I want are not accessible. But I might buy anyway and scan them
or something. And remember that many blind people don't have computers or
know how to use them because training is so limited.
I remember the time when my computer crashed and I could not use one; could
not just go to a library and use a computer.
It wasn't a good feeling. But I reminded myself I'd have one later and that
I was fortunate I had family who could pay to get it fixed. Many blind
people are not so lucky and they don't have internet either.

Those of us who can use electronic sources are the in the minority of blind
people.
Anyway I might see what Optasia offers but I already looked and know they
don't offer books by David Jeremiah or Michael Graham or Franklin Graham.

Yes, you're right. But there is a big difference between saying there isn't
a lot of christian literature in the format you prefer and saying there
isn't a lot of christian literature in an accessible format. electronic
resources are growing in popularity, and while it might not be my preferred
way for handling devotional material, I'm willing to get access to materials
in any form they exist. Give it a try at least. Optasia has a bunch of
materials on church history and the historical background of the Bible.
