I haven't heard the audio of Portals of Prayer, but I did used to receive it
in braille, and it is a very good devotional.

Hi,
I saw that Lutheran Blind Mission has a few publications that look more
general. They have a devotional, Portals of Prayer; also a one called
Today's light which says it goes through the bible in two years and gives
commentary on each reading. Has anyone used their publications?

Is the recording quality good? Some agencies use recording studios; others
do not; studios can cut out background noise though wich usually makes
quality better, provided the reader is decent.
Also, did someone say Helping Hands Braille ministry produced a magazine?

Ashley

I'm with you Ashley. Personally, though I'm not Baptist, would like to at
least peruse an issue of In Touch, the magazine produced by In Touch
Ministries of Atlanta GA. Also Lutheran Blind Mission produces a whole set
of reviews, although admittedly Lutheran, specifically from the LCMS
(Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. They are on the Web at
http://www.blindmission.org or, if you wish, you can call them toll-free at
1-888-215-2455. And of course there is Christian Record Services for the
Blind, but they are Seventh-Day Adventist. In the UK there is a magazine
called "The Light" produced by an organization quaintly called the
Christadelphian Isolationist League. Don't know much about that group.
And, as posted previously, Decision magazine is produced in Braille by
Braille Bibles International. They can be reached toll-free at
1-800-522-4253. That should get you started. Paul
