well now, that is interesting, most of the kids who come by my house over
the last few years are dressed as movie characters, princesses, kings and
such, once again it is the assumption that it is all evil, ridiculous.
like i said until you have raised children you really have no understanding
of what is gong on, the most part, at least in my experience the kids who go
trick or treating in my area are doing it for fun, to say you never dress up
is silliness.
as Christians we do not need to be fanatics about everything do we?
we are to be in the world and not of the world. God sees our hearts and
the outside is not the end allbe all.
i do not for one minute think that other folks who allow their little kids
to do halloween are bad Christians or not Christians at all. ridiculous.
to many folks this is a family deal, now when my kids were young i had the
same ideas and felt it was wrong, i wanted to protect them from the evil
influence and i kept them at home, may be that the older kids in high school
did the evil costume parties and such, there were certainly kids wo did
wheni was growing up but i never had anythig to do with it.
like i said, many of us grew up doing these things and as far as i know i
am o.k. and didn't suffer at the hands of anything evil and frankly until i
had kids and began researching it i hade no idea of any of the evil or
witchcraft associated with it.
and no, lots of girls who dress up as witches have odesire to be a withc, i
knew lots of girls who did and they are fine Christian womena t this point
and were well behaved kids at the time. jeanette
